         Parenting, women and adolesences groups

 In person and telehealth

I have been doing groups since the 90's. When I worked in residential adolescent homes I saw how much of a positive affect groups had on my clients. In a safe group setting, people feel like they are not alone in their suffering, they feel heard, accepted and understood by others. It can be very a very powerful tool in helping people manage their mental health issues.

I will do different small groups, no bigger then 10 people periodically during the year. All are support groups, but also I give my guidence and therapuetic knowledge.

Here are examples of just a few:

  • Postpartum

  • Mother's of toddlers

  • New mother's

  • Mom's of adolescence

  • Depression or anxiety in adolescence

  • Managing social issues in middle school or high school

  • Talking with adolescence on sex or drugs

Clinical Consultation for Counselors

You don't have to figure it out alone.

Starting out as a counselor can feel overwhelming, and even experienced clinicians sometimes need a place to talk through a challenging client situation, treatment approach, or clinical question.

With more than 30 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I offer supportive, practical consultation to licensed professional counselors who are beginning their careers or would benefit from another experienced perspective.

Consultation can be helpful when you:

  • Are beginning your counseling practice and want support as you build confidence

  • Are unsure how to approach a challenging client or clinical situation

  • Want to talk through treatment options or therapeutic approaches

  • Feel stuck with a client and need a fresh perspective

  • Want to strengthen your clinical skills and confidence

  • Need support navigating difficult professional situations

  • Want an experienced counselor to be a sounding board as you grow your practice

My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can ask questions, think through your options, and gain perspective.

You bring the question. We work through it together.

*Consultation is intended to provide professional support and clinical perspective and is not a substitute for required clinical supervision, licensure supervision, or legal/ethical consultation when those services are required.
