About

Molly Jaques

I have been a counselor for over 25 years - I started before there were cell phones! I began as a youth counselor at a residential treatment center, which is where my passion to become a professional mental health therapist was realized. I noticed the master level counselors making decisions I didn’t think were in the best interest of the child, and I knew I could do better. So I decided to go back to school to earn my Master's Degree. Having two learning disabilities, ADHD and dyslexia, made this a tough decision, but it was very important to me.

Over the years, I've worked at several residential settings for adolescents, at a 60-day psychological assessment unit, at a day treatment center for adolescents, as a therapist at a child and family outpatient clinic, as a school-based therapist, conducting groups at an eating disorder clinic, and as a counselor at a professional counseling clinic.

I have a BA in Psychology and I graduated from Regis University with a Master's in Counseling, with honors: Chi Sigma Lota, Upsilon Chi Honor Society. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor through DORA.

I am a mom to three active boys, so I can relate to many parenting issues. I love to stay healthy by doing yoga and running. I also enjoy the outdoors, skiing, hiking, camping, paddle boarding, and bike riding, basically any reason to get up to our beautiful mountains.
